Members of the Grambling State University football and volleyball teams will take part in GSU’s annual Fall Sports Fan Appreciation and Media Day on Saturday, Aug. 18 beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Robinson Stadium Support Complex on the campus of Grambling State.
The Lady Tigers volleyball team, which is led by fourth-year head coach Kim Young, is the defending SWAC West Champion and will begin play on Aug. 24 in the University of New Mexico Tournament.
The Tigers football team features new head coach Rod Broadway at the helm and will begin its season at Alcorn State on Saturday,Sept.1.
In addition to the respective teams, the Grambling State bookstore will also be on hand for fans to view and purchase the latest Grambling State University clothing and memorabilia
