Adams is #1.Morgan State ended Coppin State's 41-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference regular-season winning streak with a 63-55 victory yesterday. Corin Adams led the visiting Bears (7-5, 1-0) with a game-high 18 points, seven rebounds, six steals and three assists. The game was the first MEAC loss for the Eagles (5-9, 0-1) since a 51-50 setback to Delaware State in 2005.
Rashida Suber had 13 points in defeat for Coppin.
