QUOTES OF THE DAY...
"I have heard more than my share of marching bands in my life (HBCU and non), and I can say without a doubt that the 100 has the highest quality sound I've heard. Their ability to play with volume without sacrificing subtlety is unmatched. Arguably, the best college ambassadors in the country...." TheAgRat
"I have attended 17 Florida Classics. Every year B-CU has gotten better. However, everything they do including their silly PA announcer has copied (FAMU) and Joe Bullard. We have had the opening marching announcements: "From the Highest of 7 hills in Tallahassee..." for years. In the last two for BCU its, "From the world's most famous beach..." Heck, I thought the world's most famous beach was in MIAMI..." CaliRattler

Listen to yourself. For the longest, Daytona Bch has been the considered the World's Most Famous Beach. You cant copy that. Furthermore, know your history. FAMU band had been bigger and better for years. The problem is that for years the band had members who were not enrolled in school and members who attended other schools that were allowed to march. Hell, we should be better with that. Just 4 years ago the school cracked down on that. Remember how small the band was that year? That is a fact. FAMU still uses members from the community college. Only actively enrolled students are allowed to March in Cookman's Band. With that said, you can say we, yes I'm a Rattler, are better, but that Band in the World's Most Famous Beach is definitely a contender. We dont have to like them...but stats showed that there were more of them at the 2009 classic then us and it wasn't for their football team.
