TALLAHASSEE, Florida - Florida A&M took its first step to preparing for the 2012 football season Monday without quarterback Austin Trainor, who decided to transfer in hopes of landing in a starting role.
Trainor told the Democrat on Monday that he has transferred to the University of West Georgia. The Wolves compete in the Gulf South, the same Division II conference that Valdosta State plays.

Trainor is a winner in my books. He helped lead FAMU to a MEAC championship and a hugh win as the big underdog in the 2010 Florida Classic. Trainor leaves town with more hardware than Pulley, Battle and Fleming combined.
