CROSBY, Texas -- Alea Godfrey of Crosby, Texas, has verbally committed to Bethune-Cookman, according to her club team coach, Howard Randle of the Houston Elite.The 5-foot-10 junior guard also considered Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese State, Southern Mississippi, Stephen F. Austin, and Wichita State.
Godfrey is rated a two-star prospect by ESPN HoopGurlz. She is the first commitment for the Wildcats of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. She will be in the class of 2013.
