Southern baseball opener relocated to Pete Goldsby Field

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana  --  Southern University baseball's 2013 home opening weekend series against Stillman College has been relocated to Pete Goldsby Field due to ongoing renovations to the infield at Lee-Hines Field.

Friday's game also marks the 2013 season opener for the Jaguars as well.

Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m., while games on Saturday and Sunday will start at 1 p.m. Admission for the weekend slate is $5.

Pete Goldsby Field, which serves as the home of Baton Rouge Community College Bears, is located at 1502 Foss Street in North Baton Rouge, La., five minutes away from Lee Hines Field on Scenic Highway.
