Tennessee State Tigers Entertain Supporters at Fan Day

NASHVILLE, Tennessee  --  On Saturday, hundreds of Big Blue supporters gathered in the Indoor Football Facility for the Tigers’ annual Fan Day.

The festivities kicked off at 3 p.m. with the introductions of every member of this year’s team. The players then took a seat to sign the new 2013 posters for the many fans who lined up before the event to get all the signatures.

While some were getting autographs, the little Tigers played in an inflatable playground and others listened to 92Q who were on hand for the celebration.

Immediately following the Fan Day, Big Blue went to Hale Stadium for a scrimmage in front of their home crowd. The team treated Saturday’s scrimmage as one of the last tune-ups before the season opener of Sunday night.

The Tigers will host the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at LP Field for the 15th annual John Merritt Classic.
