Jaguars Athletic Director William Broussard and Odums’ agent, Burton Rocks, spoke late Tuesday night to discuss the details of an offer Broussard made earlier in the day.
Broussard said Tuesday afternoon that “the best case scenario” was to have Odums verbally agree to the offer Tuesday night but that he was prepared to continue negotiations into Wednesday.
The university is offering a long-term deal to Odums, who has one year remaining on his contract. Broussard wouldn’t reveal the details of the offer or the negotiations.
