On this day in 1963, Florida A&M freshman Bob Hayes set a world record in the 100-yard dash (9.1 seconds) and set a crazy idea off in my head. Six months after his epic run, I drafted Hayes as a wide receiver. He awarded the Cowboys with a HOF career.
