SCSU Bulldogs move FAMU game to Oct. 4

The 2008 South Carolina State versus Florida A&M football contest at Tallahassee, Florida has been moved to Oct. 4 instead of its original date of Oct. 18 in order to assist the Rattlers with a scheduling conflict, Bulldog athletics director Charlene Johnson announced Monday.

The date change, which came after consultation between the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and SC State and Florida A&M officials, will allow the Rattlers to play their longtime rival Southern on Oct. 18, the originally scheduled date of the SCSU-FAMU contest, and give Florida A&M a twelfth game in 2008.
