Make it three in a row for the Southern University baseball team. The Jaguars beat Jackson State, 3-1, and Chicago State, 8-3, on Saturday afternoon at Lee-Hines Field. Southern (13-11) had beaten Chicago State 9-2 on Friday night.On Saturday, freshmen pitchers Chase Richard and Kyle Wahl turned in strong performances for the Jaguars. “Both of our freshmen did good jobs,” Southern coach Roger Cador said. “It’s promising when you have freshmen come through for you.”
