Baltimore, MD - Club football will kick off its initial season with a home game against Virginia University of Lynchburg on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The team has 55 Coppin State University students who have played football in high school or at other campuses.

Club football is an opportunity for students to play against other club football teams in an organized fashion. Currently, there are approximately 20 colleges with club football teams. It’s a way for athletes interested in playing football, and for fans to support them.
