Fort Valley, GA - After taking FCS team Florida A&M down to the wire before losing 28-22 on Saturday, Fort Valley State began work Monday on visiting Delta State.
FVSU hosts Delta State at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the Wildcats’ home opener. Delta State fell to 1-1 after losing 24-23 at FCS opponent Northwestern State last Saturday. The Statesmen opened the season at No. 2 in Division II.
