Christian Williams Stepping up as Scorer for JSU

JACKSON, Mississippi  -  It has been a roller coaster season for Jackson State hoops. A bright spot is beginning to shine during SWAC play. That light, junior guard Christian Williams.

"I'm just trying to be a leader. This is my third year. I'm trying to show a little leadership," said Williams. Through 17 total games this season, Williams boasts a modest scoring average of 9.9 ppg. Dig a little deeper and you'll see he is averaging almost 17 ppg in JSU's five SWAC contests.

"Christian Williams is playing well for us," said JSU Head Coach Tevester Anderson.
