Florida A&M Rattlers Hit Road Again, 2nd Conference Game
Tallahassee, Florida - James Owens ran with all the attention this week after rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns. But he expects more from their next opponent, Delaware State.
"Hopefully I can come out this week and I will have a great practice," Owens said. "I'm just gonna have great intensity and push my teammates."
FAMU needed that win against Hampton last Saturday. They were among their own fans for the first time this season. With the win, the Rattlers have initiated their hunt for a conference title.
"We feel like our hardest games are out of the way," said Devan Roberts, a sophomore defensive back. "So we're focusing on winning out right now."
That next win will have to come on the road, their third trip in four weeks.
