WOODBRIDGE, Virginia -- Norfolk State got a verbal commitment this week from Gar-Field (Woodbridge) running back Shakeem Copeland. Copeland, a 5-foot-9, 190-pounder who battled hamstring issues throughout the season, said he picked NSU over an offer from North Carolina Central and heavy interest from Richmond.
