DAYTONA BEACH, Florida –- Malik Jackson and Clemmye Owens both scored career highs of 27 and 20 points, respectively, to key a 69-62 win for Bethune-Cookman Saturday afternoon over Maryland Eastern Shore at Moore Gymnasium.

Jackson hit five 3-pointers from the floor and had 17 points in the second half to help B-CU (3-19, 0-6 in MEAC) overcame a halftime deficit. The Wildcats came out firing after intermission, turning a 32-25 deficit into a 34-32 advantage in a span of 72 seconds. Owens was also a key to the rally after the break, canning four 3-pointers and scoring 13 points.
