(Nov. 8) to clinch Big Eight Conference championship. Team won NCHSAA 3-AA state championship with 14-2 overall record.

Rushed for five touchdowns and 251 yards against Purnell Swett (Sept. 13, 2013). Accounted for five touchdowns - all in the first half – in the first round of the NCHSAA 4A playoffs against Northern Durham (Nov. 15, 2013), with 5 carries for 52 yards and 3 touchdowns, and 8 receptions for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. Team finished with 9-4 overall record. Received Top Athlete Award at New Hanover High School.
