NEW ORLEANS -- Watch as Talladega College "Dega Sound" Marching Band gives Southern University Human Jukebox Marching Band a lesson in musicianship at the 2014 Mardi Gras and band showdown.
The "Dega Sound" was formed in April 2012 and has become a first class performing group, with great marching and musicianship and will perform with the best in HBCU circles, including the SWAC finest -- Southern University. Did I mention that Talladega College, a member of the NAIA Division I, Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) does not field a football team?
The Human Jukebox needs no introduction as their sound speaks volume of their capabilities. They are the real deal, but the new kids on the block, TC --didn't back down in this band brawl.
Note that Talladega College was the lead band in the Bacchus Parade. Wow!
