Dave Clawson, who succeeded Jim Grobe as head coach in December, said he understood Jones’ feelings and he wished him well.

Clawson also said that Ben Emert, a redshirt junior fullback, will graduate with his class and not return for his redshirt senior season. Emert played in 10 games last season, but did not start.
