TUSKEGEE, Alabama – Tuskegee turned in its sharpest performance of the season, coasting to a 38-9 homecoming victory over Kentucky State on Saturday.

The quarterbacks also played their best game of the year, combining to go 16-for-18 passing for a season-high 291 yards.

Sophomore Kevin Lacey was 10-for-11 passing with 180 yards, and rushed for 19 yards and a touchdown. Senior Justin Nared went 4-for-4 with two touchdowns, and added 24 yards on the ground.

"I've really been focusing on making the right reads and making sure I check where the safeties are when the ball is snapped," Lacey said. "All week, we've been working on this, just trying to get better of making corner reads, safety reads.
