TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Florida A&M’s April 25 baseball game at Fenway Park in Boston is what interim athletic director D’Wayne Robinson hopes will be the start of something big for all historically black colleges and universities.The Rattlers will play a 10 a.m. game against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Southern Division foe North Carolina Central in the first HBCU Showcase played on Boston’s historic field.
Robinson revealed Wednesday the game will be a part of the Fenway Park Open House, meaning it will be free to attend. He added last year, about 40,000 people came to the Open House.
“It’ll be one of the biggest marketing opportunities we’ve ever had,” Robinson said.
