Florida A&M Wind Symphony provides superb performance at the Annual President's Concert

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University hosted the President’s Concert on April 22, 2015 at Lee Hall Auditorium. The event featured the University’s acclaimed Wind Symphony, which just completed a historical performance at the world famous Carnegie Hall.  Dr. Shelby R. Chipman, Conductor, led the Wind Symphony through a truly stellar performance.

In the playing of "Marche Brillante," the Piccolos and Euphoniums musicianship were purely on point with perfect articulation, intonation and a joy to hear. The composition is the product of the creative genius of The Maestro himself, the late Dr. William Patrick Foster (August 25, 1919 – August 28, 2010), Chairman of the Music Department and Director of Bands, Florida A&M University (1946-1998).  "Hubba, Doc!"

If you missed the event, here are a few excepts from the President's Concert for your listening pleasure in high definition surround sounds.  As always, watch in 1080p HD, Wide Screen for maximum viewing pleasure.  Go Rattlers!
