Tailgating, Kids Zone Activities are Also Free to the PublicGREENSBORO, North Carolina -- The Norfolk State University football team will hold its Green & Gold Game on Saturday, April 18 at Dick Price Stadium at 2:30 p.m. The game and all events surrounding it are free to the public.
Beginning at noon, fans are invited to tailgate in Lot 9, between Dick Price Stadium and Marty L. Miller Baseball Field. Vendors will also be on campus to allow fans access to purchase various merchandise. Youth will have the opportunity to meet the Spartan mascot, play games, receive giveaways and more in the Kids Zone. The NSU band and cheerleaders will also be in attendance.
Following the intrasquad scrimmage, first-year head football coach Latrell Scott, assistant coaches and football student-athletes will be available to meet and greet fans, autograph NSU football schedule posters and take photographs. Fans in attendance can also purchase 2015 NSU football season tickets.
Fans interested in tailgating are requested to email Jeremy Faulk at jrfaulk@nsu.edu by Tuesday, April 14 to reserve their space. There is no charge to tailgate, but fans must reserve their space by April 14.
