Dr. Vaughns Remembered for His Dedication to Promoting Student SuccessBOWIE, Maryland -- The homegoing services for Dr. Freddie T. Vaughns, assistant vice president of academic affairs at Bowie State University, will be held on Monday, July 13 at Shiloh Baptist Church. The viewing will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., and the service will start at 12 p.m.
The interment will take place immediately following the service at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
Dr. Vaughns, a champion for student achievement for more than 40 years, died on July 4. He was 65.
