TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Longtime radio host and voice of FAMU's Marching 100, Joe Bullard, has lost his wife to cancer.
Carolyn Bullard died Sunday evening at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She had been battling cancer.
Joe Bullard is known for closing out his radio broadcasts on WHBX-FM 96.1 JAMZ each day by saying: "God never meant for us to face the tough times alone. That's why he gave us each other. Take it from me, worry about nothing, pray about anything and thank the man above for everything."
