Rams, Blue Bears to face off in Salisbury
SALISBURY, North Carolina -- Winston-Salem State can take another step toward its fifth straight Southern Division title, but the next step isn’t easy.
A very good Livingstone Blue Bears team waits for the Rams today at 1 p.m. at Memorial Stadium in Salisbury.
Even though the Rams have won the last 12 games against the Blue Bears, this should be a good game.
For the first time in a long time, the Blue Bears have more fire power on offense than the Rams and appear to be more experienced.
Leading that charge on offense for the Blue Bears, who are averaging 28 points a game, is quarterback Drew Powell. He’s a four-year starter and one of the most complete quarterbacks in the CIAA.
