Shaw University Sheldon Saddler to Participate in NFL Reginonal Combine

RALEIGH, North Carolina -- Shaw University senior offensive lineman Sheldon Saddler (Kannapolis, NC) has been invited to participate in the 2016 National Football League Regional Combine on March 5, 2016 at the Minnesota Vikings Winter Park practice facility.

Saddler anchored the Bears offensive line with 2500 total yards on the season, while earning CIAA Offensive Lineman during week 9 for Shaw.

The regional combines serve as a supplement to the NFL's National Scouting Combine and provide an opportunity for current draft-eligible players to display their skills before NFL talent evaluators. The NFL's national, week-long combine starts Feb. 23 in Indianapolis.

The regional combines are only open to players who played college football during the 2015 season. Players are tested and evaluated by experienced NFL scouting personnel, and measurements, combine results and videos are compiled and entered into a database available to all 32 NFL clubs.
