Missouri State Home Football Opener with Lincoln University of Missouri Moved to 11 a.m. CDT Start

Breaking NewsSPRINGFIELD, Missouri -- Due to anticipated heavy thunderstorms in the Springfield area Thursday (Sept. 6) afternoon and evening, Missouri State University's football home opener against Lincoln University of Missouri will be moved to an 11 a.m. CDT kickoff Thursday at Robert W. Plaster Stadium.
 
With classes in session Thursday morning, BearFest Village tailgating activities will not be held, and parking will be on a first-come, first-served basis in all university lots. Shuttle services are available at no charge for fans parking in the BearPark North parking garage.
 
The game will air live on 
101.3 FM KTXR locally, along with participating MSU Bears Radio Network affiliates. However, the game will not be shown on ESPN3, as originally scheduled.
 

Tickets for the game are still available in all sections by calling (417) 836-7678 or visiting MissouriStateBears.com. Missouri State students are admitted free of charge with a valid BearPass ID.
