Florida A&M wins commitment from former Texas State Wide Receiver Jah'Marae "KDOT" Sheread

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Florida A&M Rattlers football may not have played this Spring due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but the coaching staff has been at full throttle in recruiting more weapons for the inaugural SWAC season.  Tweets from Head Coach Willie Simmons and Co-OC/QBs Coach Black confirm that a RAC Boyz 2.0, dynamic playmaker has been added to the team.

Jah'Marae Sheread or "KDOT" is a 5'-7"/170 lbs. wide receiver from FBS Texas State University of the Sun Belt Conference. Sheread is a redshirt sophomore who was recruited from the NCAA transfer portal.

The Austin-American Statesman reports that KDOT was third on the Bobcats in receptions (29), receiving yards (334) and receiving touchdowns (two). In 22 career games, Sheread recorded 56 catches for 623 yards and three touchdowns.  Watch his highlights tapes and get excited Rattler Fans!

The Cypress Springs High School (Texas) playmaker was rated as a 3-Star recruit coming out of high school before signing the NLI with Texas State.

KDOT has three years of eligibility remaining and this dude definitely turns on the jets after the catch.  A legit RAC Boyz 2.0!

KDOT selected the FAMU Rattlers over recent offers from: Youngstown State,  Eastern Kentucky, Missouri State, Grambling State, Missouri Southern State University, Colorado Mesa University and Prairie View A&M University.  Welcome to the FAMUly, KDO!!
