Hall of Fame coach C. Vivian Stringer announced her retirement Saturday after 50 years in college basketball.

Her 1,055 wins as a head coach ranks fourth all-time among D-I women's basketball coaches.

After 50 years and 1,055 wins, @cvivianstringer will retire from coaching, effective Sept. 1.
