According to sources, the Texas Southern Board of Regents has rejected head basketball candidate Corey Lowery, but have accepted AD candidate Ashley Robinson for a vote next week. Lowery may have committed NCAA infractions by call TSU players and may have resume issues, too.

Texas Southern has announced a special Board of Regents hybrid meeting for August 19 where the athletic director and head men's basketball coaching hires are expected to be voted on. School originally announced the meeting for Aug. 28.@defendernetwork @TxsuProud @TigerFans
