Restore the Snake: #FAMU’s football helmets don’t need a rebrand @FAMUAthletics @FAMU_FB #HBCU | #FangsUp | #FAMUly https://t.co/oRHl3cNAk3

We agree with da rattler. FAMU's iconic Rattler head is more than a helmet logo. Generations of Rattlers proudly wear it on caps, sweatshirts, jackets and shirts. Even non-HBCU graduates recognize the university by its snake head and four-block FAMU lettering.
Remember 2022, when FAMU placed its Rattler branding on a NASCAR race car for national exposure? The former administration understood the marketing value of that identity. FAMU reportedly generated $287,298 in licensing and royalty revenue in FY2025.
Why diminish the visibility of an internationally recognized brand? Modernize the uniforms but protect the identity. Bring back the snake!
