BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – The Southwestern Athletic Conference has selected Grambling State University guard Antwan Scott as its SWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for March 4.

Scott helped lead GSU past Mississippi Valley State in a 72-70 victory on Monday night. The Dallas, Texas native scored 21 points and nailed a three pointer with 32 seconds left to secure the win for the Tigers.

Saturday he poured in his first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds against Arkansas Pine-Bluff. He shot 50 percent from three point range while also tallying a pair of assists and steals.
