DURHAM, North Carolina -- LeVelle Moton has been going nonstop since North Carolina Central lost to Miami in the first round of the NIT.The Eagles are coming off consecutive postseason tournaments – a first since moving up to Division I – and Moton’s name has become a hot commodity for coaching jobs. The Durham News caught up with him recently to discuss the men’s program.
Durham News: First, how is your son, LeVelle Jr., doing after his coffee scalding accident?
LeVelle Moton: He’s incredible. His face has healed 90 percent of the way. He’ll be 3 in December. It’s a blessing.
DN: After going to the NCAA two years ago, was the NIT last season a disappointment?
