Bethune-Cookman at Nebraska, 12 PM EDT, TV: Big Ten Network (BTN)
LINCOLN, Nebraska -- Bethune-Cookman is already a winner considering the $800,000 payout it’s receiving to come to Lincoln, but Nebraska represents perhaps the biggest challenge Sims has faced in his fourth year as coach.
The Wildcats lost 49-28 to FBS foe Florida Atlantic last month and had a pair of defeats to Miami in recent seasons. The Huskers are the first Big Ten foe to face Bethune-Cookman in the 93-year history of the program, which is 2-9 against FBS teams — both wins against Florida International. Once a player at Knoxville in the early 1990s, Sims has been with the school in Daytona Beach, Florida, for nine years.
