Texas A&M University-Commerce won the D2 football national championship in 2017 and has made the playoffs from 2015-2019 https://t.co/w0FEj4Cq5t
As expected, the Southland Conference has extended an invitation of membership to Texas A&M-Commerce. The longstanding NCAA Division II power, located an hour east of Dallas, would join the Southland on July 1, 2022, and begin a four-year transition into Division I. pic.twitter.com/qT6DKCNiwu
