Experienced Tuskegee squad not intimidated by praise, tradition

ATLANTA, Georgia---Tuskegee don't back down.

Not from a challenge and certainly not from it's rich tradition. 
 
The Golden Tigers, last year's Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champs, were picked to repeat as league champions at the conference's annual media day at the Holiday Inn Perimeter earlier today. 
 


So, what if they lost Derrick Washington, who transferred from Missouri last season and rushed for more than 1,600 yards on his way being named the 2012 SIAC Player of the Year and earned a nomination for the Harlon Hill Trophy award, the Division II equivalent of the Heisman. 
 
So, what if they won't have any members of the a starting defensive backfield which was ranked in the top 10 in the country and accounted for nearly 20 interceptions a year ago.
