WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Welcome to the new HUBison.com! Today, the Howard University Athletics Department, in conjunction with SIDEARM Sports, announces a new athletics web site that will deliver a platform for simpler navigation and more social media features.
"We love the passion that players, alumni and student fans bring to Howard games," Howard University Director of Athletics Louis "Skip" Perkins said "We are excited to apply this passion by giving our web site a fresh look. HUBison.com will provide alumni, fans, recruiting prospects and media outlets a variety of information on what's happening in Howard Athletics."
The new site will feature an exciting look for each of the 19 sports team at Howard. The site displays team news, rosters, and statistics in a format that allows users to access the information they want quickly and easily. New sidebars and tabs allow fans to stay connected through links to upcoming team promotional events and playing schedules.
The new HUBison.com will serve as a stronger platform for social media integration. Fans can now more easily access any of the social media platforms that Howard Athletics utilizes. Access to latest Tweets and Facebook posts will now appear at the bottom of pages. HUBison.com also boasts mobile technology enhancements, live stats technology, fan polls, photo galleries and more online video.
"We hope supporters, alumni, fans, student-athletes and the staff at Howard University enjoy their new athletics website," said Jeff Rubin, president and chief executive of SIDEARM Sports.
