FAMU Lady Rattlers Down EWC Tigers 70-64 for First Win

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- After an intense game in the Al Lawson Multipurpose Center on Saturday, the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers (1-5, 0-0 MEAC) were able to grab their first win of the season over the Edward Waters College Lady Tigers (7-6) with a 70-64 final score.

Moore Led Talladega 1st-Ever Quadruple Double To Win Over #13 Lindsey Wilson

TALLADEGA, Alabama — Brijanne Moore scored quadruple-double 22 points with 12 assists, 10 rebounds and 13 steals and the Lady Tornadoes beat #13 rank Lindsey Wilson, Kentucky 78-68 on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 17, 2018.   This comes after Moore had triple-double on Thursday night.
Moore quadruple-double was the first in the history of the program. Diamond Jolly had another double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.  Ja'Nyia McNealy and Rosa Reynaud had 13 and 11 points for the Talladega. 
Talladega shot 33 percent from the field.  The Tornadoes outrebounded the Blue Raiders 53-39.  Talladega won the turnovers battle with Lindsey Wilson 36-11.
Image result for gcac logoTalladega had 21-16 first-quarter lead, but it was erased in the second Talladega took an only 37-36 lead to the break.  The Tornadoes extended the lead to five at the end of three and maintained through the fourth quarter to pick up the win.

Today, the Talladega is 10-1, 5-0 GCAC on the season.
