Men's Track and Field: Competing at two meets (LSU and Southern Mississippi), XULA produced two qualifying marks for NAIA outdoor nationals. Santerrius Barlow did it in the 200-meter dash, and Edward Angel did it in the high jump. Both athletes improved on their qualifying marks from earlier this season.

Women's Track and Field: The XULA women also competed at two venues (LSU and Southern Mississippi) and produced five qualifying marks for NAIA Nationals:
-- Jada McBean, 200-meter dash
-- Emerald Carter, 100-meter hurdles
-- Alexis Williams, 400-meter dash
-- 400-meter relay team of Ebone Stingley, Ariel Ford, Emerald Carter and Alexis Williams
-- 1,600-meter relay team of  Darryan Horton, Alexis Williams, Reagan Collins and Ariel Ford

Softball: XULA's first-year program produced its first doubleheader sweep, defeating Talladega 10-0 and 9-2 at Wesley Barrow Stadium's softball facility. In the opener XULA (5-12) reached double-digit runs for the first time, and Destyn Jones pitched the program's first shutout. Mecolett Bradley tripled in both games and in the opener was 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBIs. XULA had four extra-base hits in the second game, including two Endya Gillard doubles. Note that XULA's home doubleheader next Saturday against Spring Hill has been canceled.

Baseball:
 XULA, playing this sport for the first time since 1960, improved its win streak to 11 games with 10-0 and 3-2 victories against Southeastern Baptist at Wesley Barrow Stadium. In the opener Juwan Fitch (5-0) pitched XULA's third shutout of the season. In the second game reliever Jamal Allen struck out eight in four relief innings. Allen retired the side in order in the seventh on called third strikes. XULA is 15-3.

Women's Tennis: XULA, ranked third in the NAIA, defeated Rust 6-0 to win at home for the 12th consecutive time and the 22nd time in its last 23 home matches. Overall XULA is 13-4 this season and has won seven straight.

Men's Tennis: XULA, ranked 11th in the NAIA, defeated Rust 7-0 and won at home for the 17th consecutive time and the 38th time in its last 41 home matches. Overall XULA is 8-8 this season and has won three straight. It's the first time the XULA men have been at .500 or better since Feb. 19.
