In Memoriam for FAMU Rattler Willie B. Jacobs 1947-2022 | Jacksonville, FL

Willie B. Jacobs
, 74, (affectionately known as 'Honey,' 'Daddy,' 'Pop,' 'G-daddy,' 'Poppa Jacobs,' 'Uncle Willie,' 'Jake' and 'Dean Jacobs') answered His Savior's calling on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Surrounded by his loving wife of almost 50 years and four beloved children, Willie took his final breaths, and entered into peaceful rest.   

Formative Years:
Willie was born to Sanford Jacobs and Lucile (Sellers) Jacobs in 1947, in Arlington, GA, delivered by a midwife – his great grandmother – Mary Jane Jacobs.
