The 2024 Miami vs. FAMU $700,000 guarantee contract was negotiated and finalized under the administration of former Rattlers Vice President and Director of Athletics Kortne Gosha.  Mr. Gosha also finalized a $740,000 FAMU contract guarantee with Miami for a Sept. 12, 2026, game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.  The contract also states that if Florida A&M’s Marching 100 band makes the trip to Miami Gardens, they will be paid an additional $40,000 in each year.

In other words, with the FAMU Marching 100 Band attending each contest, the guaranteed payout for 2024 is $740,000 and $780,000 for the 2024 and 2026 games, respectively

Looking ahead, the Rattlers will earn a guarantee of $500,000 for a 164-mile trip south to Gainesville, FL to play SEC Florida Gators on October 11, 2025.  The September 9, 2028 scheduled game at SEC Georgia Bulldogs (278-miles one-way) has a guaranteed payout of $650,000.  (Dbandman)
