Jaquan Sanders is a 6'4" guard from Queens, NY, who brings a dynamic mix of scoring, shooting, and defensive energy to the floor. A former four-star recruit out of Our Saviour Lutheran, he’s played at Seton Hall and Hofstra before transferring to Florida A&M (FAMU), giving him experience at multiple competitive levels.

Here’s a breakdown of his capabilities:

·        Shooting Touch: Sanders is a confident perimeter shooter. He shot 37.3% from three during the 2023–24 season at Seton Hall, making him a reliable threat from deep.

·        Scoring Versatility: He’s had multiple games with double-digit scoring, including 11-point performances in both regular season and postseason play, showing he can contribute in big moments.

·        Defensive Grit: He’s active on defense, recording steals and even a few blocks. His size allows him to guard both guard spots effectively.

·        Clutch Factor: Sanders hit key shots in high-pressure games, including the NIT Semifinal and Quarterfinal, where he knocked down multiple threes and tied his career-high in points.

·        High School Pedigree: Back in high school, he averaged 19 points, 7 assists, and 2 steals per game while shooting 44% from three, which speaks to his all-around game and court vision.
