NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State University will hold its annual football media day on Saturday, Aug. 18 at William "Dick" Price Stadium. The event is free and open to the public.
After team pictures at 2 p.m., a brief press conference will begin at 3:30 p.m. Afterward, NSU head coach Pete Adrian, his coaching staff and players will be available for 1-on-1 media interviews as well as to meet and greet fans in attendance. Football schedule cards, posters and other promotional materials will be available. Football media guides, featuring in-depth player and coach bios, team analysis and Spartan football records, will also be on sale for $5 (cash and check accepted).
The first 200 youth in attendance receive a free hot dog and soft drink compliments of Greenbrier Chrysler Jeep and Shakey’s Concession. Youth can also test their athletics skills and enjoy the fun of several interactive games.
Fans are also invited to attend the team's second preseason scrimmage, which is later that evening at 7 p.m.
