CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Winston-Salem State ran roughshod over another CIAA opponent with another convincing victory Saturday afternoon.
WSSU rolled over Johnson C. Smith 37-0 at soggy Memorial Stadium. The Rams led 30-0 at halftime and after the rain hit in the second half cruised to their 27th straight win against a CIAA team.
The Rams, ranked No. 15 in the AFCA Division II coaches’ poll, improved to 5-1 and 3-0 in the CIAA heading into next weekend’s homecoming game against St. Augustine’s.
