HSSU Hornets Wimbley Named AMC Men's Basketball Player of the Weeki

SAINT LOUIS, Missouri -- The American Midwest Conference announced today their Players of the Week and Christian Wimbley (SR/St. Louis, MO) was named the Men's Basketball Player of the Week after his outstanding efforts on the court last week.

Along with helping the Hornets to a 3-0 week, Wimbley finished the week averaging 24 points/game with a career high 40 points coming in the final game of the Langston University Men's Basketball Classic. Wimbley now leads the team with 22 ppg and is ranked nationally in field goal percentage (71.1%), points per game (22.0), and total scoring (88).
