The Maroon Tigers were ranked 17th in the preseason NABC Top 25 to start the season. Last season MHC was ranked as high as No. 7 in the nation and finished 12th in the final rankings. Morehouse garnered 234 points in the NABC Poll this week, and are the only team from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) that is ranked.
This past week Morehouse (2-0) swept the SIAC/CIAA Challenge with victories over Winston-Salem State University (66-61) and previously undefeated Shaw University (93-75).

Morehouse host Fisk University tonight at 7 p.m. before starting SIAC play this weekend as they welcome Tuskegee University on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. and Miles College on Monday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. in Forbes Arena.
