MARSHALL, Texas -- After averaging over 20 points per game and helping the Wildcats knock off an National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II school and the eleventh-ranked school in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Joshua Hamilton (SR/New Iberia, Louisiana) wins Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week for November 5-11.
Hamilton scored 21 points to help the Wildcats defeat No. 11 Texas Wesleyan 87-78 on the road. He also contributed two steals. On November 5, Hamilton scored 22 points while leading the team with seven rebounds and four assists to defeat Midwestern State University 78-64. For the Week, Hamilton shot 53.3 percent of his shots – including four of 10 from 3-point territory.
The Wildcats are receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll and are 3-0.
