XULA began its top-25 streak on April 4, 2007. It's the longest active streak in NAIA men's tennis.
The XULA men beat William Woods 5-1 at home Friday. It was the Owls' first loss this season, and it helped dropped them from fourth to ninth.
Georgia Gwinnett, winner of its last 100 dual matches, is a unanimous No. 1 for the 42nd consecutive poll.
Also Tuesday, XULA coach Alan Green announced schedule changes. His Gold Rush will visit No. 2 Reinhardt at 2 p.m. EDT Friday, No. 13 Point at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday and Texas A&M-Texarkana in a neutral-site match in Pensacola, Fla., at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Next for the XULA men and women will be Lewis-Clark State at 3 p.m. Thursday at XULA Tennis Center.
The Gold Rush active poll streaks:
